As a believer, I know that God as Creator and Lord, He must be allowed to be in control of our lives
and the position from which we can be better reflectors of His image, and His intent when He
created us.
When you come to Xpresión, please know that the aim is to walk beside you as a friendly supporter,
as an accountability partner and your personal encourager.
By inviting God into our discussions please be aware that we will include prayer and the sharing of
Scripture. It is important that in our effort to reclaim our true image, that we go to the Creator of this
image to know what it looks like. Our human reasoning alone will only lead us to confusion and may
in fact not render the help you are seeking.
While pastors are trained in biblical counseling, and their focus is in the image restoration as we
are, some of the coaching you will receive here will allow you to bring in life events and secular
circumstances, some life skills teaching, and the mundane aspects that make life what it is. We hope
to help you to bridge the gap between your humanness and your image bearing as a child of God.
We must in our wilderness, seek to find our way back to the original purpose God created us, and be
restored to the relationship Adam and Eve enjoyed in the Garden of Eden before the serpent so
cleverly deceived them. It is in the restored relationship and the image that we then, and only then,
will find the blessed state we call happiness.
Welcome to Xpresión!!!
ReplyDeleteDearest,
We are so glad you are visiting with us today....!
How fitting that the background for this blog would be a quit....A quilt is made of many different pieces, in color and in shape some times, unrelated to one another, yet, together they make something beautiful!
Indeed, as children of God, we are all different, yet we are part of the beautiful tapestry of life, united together by a bond so strong as our common love and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. That no matter what religion we seem to profess, under Christ, we are all one. We are together, one beautiful creation to reflect the glory of God.
It is our sincere hope that any time that you choose to visit, that you will know how glad we are to have this connection, and that you will leave us each time trusting that your confidence will be treated with respect and total confidentiality..
We also hope that each time you leave you take away a comforting word, a help, or something to encourage and lift you up in your journey.
The Lord has promised us that He has unimaginable things for all those who love Him (1 Corinthians 2:9). He has revealed these things to us through the Holy Spirit...How awesome it is to know that while in the Spirit, we can be partakers of the wonderful things that God prepared for us in advance. Even so, as His creation, we can become workers together with God for work He prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10).
Did you know this?
What does it mean to you that as people of God, YOU and I are workers together with Him? Doing a work that He predestined you for, and a work that empowered by Him will naturally bring Him glory?
Come, visit as often as you wish, and know that God is here..."For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." (Matthew 18:20). Lets us always invite Him in our conversation, and He promised to be here!
Blessings to you and yours.
Grace and peace
